A. No, they will need to be put together.
Q. Do the redwood planter boxes come pre-assembled?
A. Yes, all our planters arrive pre-assembled and ready for use.
Q. How are the planters and picnic tables shipped?
A. The picnic tables are shipped using RoadWay trucking service. You will need to schedule a time with their driver to help unload the delivery. They will call in advance to schedule with you.
The planters will ship via UPS and if their driver feels that leaving the package on your doorstep is safe then they will mostlikely do so. The planter boxes will be heavy since they are fully assembled.
Q. Do I need to put any stains or finishes on Kid's Creations products?
A. No, Kid's Creations uses Con-Heart Redwood which is resistant to rot/decay & insects.
Q. What is Con-Heart Redwood ?
A.That describes the grade of redwood we use. "Con" stands for construction so you can be assured it is strong and durable. "Heart" means it comes from the very center of the redwood tree. Lots of companies use redwood but they use the outer portion. Only the interior of the redwood tree is rot and insect resistant. Lumber cut from the outside of the tree will rot and decay if you don't stain it every year.
Q. Does the lumber used in Kid's Creation's products adhere to the
"Sustainable Forestry Practices"?
